The world’s first rotating tower will be constructed in Dubai. Each floor of the 80-storey skyscraper, designed by architect David Fisher, will spin around a central core, offering residents an ever-shifting view of the Persian Gulf.
The latest addition to Dubai’s ever growing skyline will revolutionise construction of tall buildings, according to Fisher.
The superior penthouses will be fitted with voice activation technology, allowing residents to control movement. Other floors will be choreographed to create a an ever changing silhouette. Additionally, wind turbines will be installed between each floor in order to supply power to the building.
